Thank you for choosing Waira Ecolodge for your next stay in Villavicencio! Please take into account the following policies and conditions of our lodging for your next visit: 

CANCELLATION AND/OR MODIFICATION POLICY: 

Any cancellation or modification in the reservation must be made at least 5 days before the day of Check in, otherwise a penalty of the value of the first night (No show) will be charged. Please note that no refund will be made unless it is a case of 'FORCE MAJEURE' and that the respective documentation is sent to prove the event occurred, in this case we will evaluate it, determine if it is a 'FORCE MAJEURE' event and proceed with the respective refund within a period of 1 month.

LATE CHECK OUT 

In case we have availability, if you wish to leave the room after this time, you must take into account that we will charge 50% of the agreed rate (including tax). Waira Ecolodge Schedule: 

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES 

Dear guests, we remind you that the hotel check-in time is from 3:00 p.m., check-out time is at 12:00 p.m. We appreciate your cooperation to comply with this schedule. We inform you that once you enter the hotel doors close at 10:00 pm, opening at 6:00 am. For the safety of our guests.

JACUZZI MANAGEMENT POLICIES AND CONDITIONS 

Dear Guests, we have for you some policies for Jacuzzi management, since we are located in a forest reserve: 

1. Time of use. The jacuzzi will be available for guests in a range of 3 hours.
2. Subject to weather conditions. We are in a forest reserve, our Jacuzzis, work with energy service, in the event that the light goes out, our plants will be enabled to provide energy in common areas and cabins. The jacuzzi cannot be used until the electricity arrives.
3. Use of resources. The water used for the jacuzzis comes directly from the creek. For this reason, when it rains heavily it can be a little cloudy. We appreciate your understanding, WairaParu promotes the environment of our forest reserve.

ROOM SERVICE:

Wairaparu we have room service for your lunches and dinners and our bar service. We inform you that this service has a cost of 10% of the consumption you make. 

SMOKING POLICY 

According to Resolution 1956 of March 30, 2008 of the Ministry of Social Protection, it is forbidden to smoke in enclosed spaces. Our cabins and common areas are smoke free; please note that if you decide to smoke inside the cabin will be cause for eviction, likewise the damages that may be caused will be charged to the account, it is totally forbidden the consumption of any type of hallucinogenic or narcotic substance during your stay at the hotel.

RESPONSIBLE TOURISM POLICY 

Waira Eco Lodge is located in a forest reserve that allows total connection with the flora and fauna of the region, we are committed to the conservation and care of ecosystems, determining the positive and negative impact we generate. We fight and denounce the commercialization of flora and fauna, in Colombia the commercialization, mobilization and illegal possession of fauna are penalized by Law 1333 of 2009. Fines range from 5,000 minimum wages to effective imprisonment (48 to 108 months). We want to contribute and support tourism in the region, create a Waira community with decent work, socially inclusive and environmentally responsible.

ACCOMMODATION POLICY FOR MINORS: 

In Waira Ecolodge we care for the welfare and safety of minors, we are governed under the ESCNNA (Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents) in Travel and Tourism and reject the exploitation and child labor. For this reason, the following documents must be presented when staying at our facilities: WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENTATION, MINORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAY AT THE HOTEL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF LAW 679 OF 2001 (STATUTE TO PREVENT SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS) AND ITS CONCORDANT RULES. IF THE MINOR IS TRAVELING IN THE COMPANY OF HIS OR HER PARENTS

If the minor has Colombian nationality 

• Birth Certificate (can be physical or digital) of the minor that corroborates the degree of kinship. The Identity Card is not valid.
• Original identity document of the parents. If the minor is a foreigner:
• Civil registry, birth certificate or homologous document that allows accrediting the kinship of the adults with the minor.
• Original identity document of the parents.

IF THE MINOR IS NOT TRAVELING WITH HIS/HER PARENTS

If the minor has Colombian nationality: 

• Civil Registry of Birth. The Identity Card is not valid.
• Copy of the identification documents of the parents.
• Original identification document of the person(s) authorized to travel with the minor.
• Original notarized permit signed by at least one of the minor's parents, specifying the name of the hotel where the minor will stay, the check-in and check-out dates, and the name and identification number of the person authorized to stay with the minor.

If the minor is a foreigner:

• Civil registry, birth certificate or homologous document that allows accrediting the relationship between the adult and the minor.
• Identification document of the parents
• Original permit signed by one of the minor's parents, specifying the name of the hotel where the minor will be staying, date of check-in and check-out, and name and identification number of the person authorized to stay with the minor. 

GUEST REGULATIONS AND POLICIES

1. Guests must strictly comply with the rules of Waira Ecolodge.
2. Our rooms are delivered in perfect condition, the guest who occupies the room must deliver it in the same condition as it was delivered to the caretaker.
3. Guests are responsible for any damage they may cause during their stay at Waira Ecolodge, including glass, mirrors, hangings, glassware or any other object found at Waira Ecolodge.
4. Guests accept and undertake to use their room in a respectful and responsible manner; therefore, any conduct contrary to the rules of good coexistence, behavior, public order and others, leads Waira Ecolodge to request the client or guest who directly or indirectly has failed to comply with such regulations, to leave the facilities, without compensation or refund in the event that payment has already been made; if no payment has been made, the guest shall pay the price of the nights of stay already enjoyed before leaving the PLACE, without the foregoing non-compliance may lead to other legal actions.
5. Guests assume all responsibility in case they suffer any accident, damage or injury, animal attacks or in case of loss, breakdown or deterioration of the elements, livestock or equipment they use. Both the guest and the owner of the property, are therefore expressly exonerated from any liability for these reasons. The host is not liable for damages affecting the guest and / or companions and they expressly waive any claim, or against the owner of the property, for robbery, kidnapping, theft, extortion or any other personal loss that affects them and that is shown not to be the responsibility of the host.
6. Waira Eco Lodge responds only for objects that are delivered in custody to the administrator of the accommodation, guests are responsible for their valuables not delivered to the administrator.
7. Guests agree to maintain a social respect and moral conduct fully respecting equality and non-discrimination, otherwise they will be removed from the lodge, will not be allowed to enter again and will not be refunded any % of money.
8. Underage children are the responsibility in all aspects of safety and health of the accompanying adult (family member).
9. It is forbidden to bring any type of weapon into the establishment.
10. For the use of screened rooms:

• The guest using it must be in optimal physical and mental condition.
• The guest must not have any health restrictions that would prevent safe use of the screen. 
• The use of the nets under the influence of alcohol and hallucinogenic substances is prohibited.
• The nets may only be used by a maximum of 2 persons weighing a maximum of 200 kg.
• Do not adopt positions or activities that put your integrity at risk, including standing on the net, jumping or running.
• Do not engage in sexual acts on the net or in any other public place of the hotel.
• Do not use the net in case of rain or storm.
• No part of the body shall be visible outside the mesh.
